Queen’s Jubilee

Today Roding celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee, as part of these celebrations, Ines in 6S produced this wonderful portrait of the Queen.  As you can see, Ines is an accomplished artist and from the smile on her face, you can see how proud she is of her work!  The school wanted to share this with all the school community, so it was displayed at the school entrance today for everyone to see.  Thank you and well done Ines.

British Values

Recently our Year 5 and 6 School Council representatives visited the Houses of Parliament as special guests of Dame Margaret Hodge. They learnt a lot about Fundamental British Values and the various careers linked to politics. The children and staff had a fantastic day!

Green Team

Our Green Team recently had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Barking Riverside development site. Whilst on site, the children learnt about careers in construction and green industries, they also enhanced their knowledge of renewable energy and sustainability. The children were fascinated by the scale of the project and were fantastic ambassadors for our school.
