Re-opening of the school
As you know there is still huge speculation about the re-opening of schools to more pupils from Monday 1st June. Some Local Authorities are NOT allowing their schools to open, some schools are opening for some pupils. On Thursday 28th May, it is possible that the Government will change the date of return for all pupils.
We agree that the best place for children to grow and learn is at school, and it is imperative that we plan for this to happen BUT we will need to minimise risks to all as best we can.
It is our intention is to continue to prepare our sites, staff, parents and pupils, so that we can re-open in the safest possible way. With this in mind, we have decided that
THE SCHOOL WILL NOT BE RE-OPENING BEFORE MONDAY 8th JUNE AT THE EARLIEST.
We will be able to give you more information during the week beg. 1st June when the N, Year R, 1 and 6 can start. This is likely to be a staggered re-introduction.
We will continue to update you via text/email/website so that you have as much notice as possible for your child’s return.
Hampers have been delivered to eligible families this week and should be delivered again week beginning Monday 1st June.
Thank you for your continued support, for the sacrifices you are making and the wonderful job you are doing for your children and the wider society.
