Teaching Art at Roding
At Roding Primary, we aim for our children to connect their cultural history with the various forms of Art, Craft and Design – understanding their importance within the world. We want them to learn and develop a progression of skills and techniques and to evaluate works of art, using relevant vocabulary. We aim to develop their confidence and to use the visual to creatively express their thoughts, emotions and ideas. We aim to create lifelong learners with an ongoing appreciation of art and design.
