Anti-Bullying Week 2023
The 13th November to 17th November 2023 is Anti-Bullying Week. The theme from the Anti-Bullying Alliance this year is Make a Noise About Bullying, which encourages children to speak up if they are being bullied or see bullying happening around them. Show Racism the Red Card Day
On Friday 20th October 2023, Roding Primary School celebrated Show Racism the Red Card Day which is a nationwide initiative by theredcard.org to promote and raise awareness of anti-racism. Year 4 Trip to the Mandir
Year 4 children had a wonderful time visiting the mandir in East Ham. This trip helped the children to consolidate their learning that they had been doing based on the topic of worship within the Hindu religion. School News

Year 1 Africa Activities Day
Children in Year 1 had a great day during the Africa Activities Day. They took part in a range of activities including Adinkra art from Ghana, exploring clothing worn from different countries and regions, as well as learning to play the djembe drum. This was a great hands on learning School News

Year 5 Eastbury Visit
Our Year 5 pupils on both site received a visit from teachers and pupils from Eastbury Community school who spoke about the jump to secondary school. Place of Worship Borough Competition Winners
Congratulations! Our best Place of Worship entries were all sent into the wider Borough competition. Lots of schools entered and the competition was fierce, but these children have won for Roding! Stubbers Adventure Play Park 2023

Metropolitan Police Visit and Assembly

Football Finals

In preparation for the King Charles III’s coronation, children across both of our sites have dressed in the colours of the Union Jack flag to celebrate this historic occasion.
